Furrier - Connecticut

Fur Services in Connecticut

Custom design, repair, and cold storage for Greenwich, Westport, and Fairfield County - from Ervin Rosenfeld's Manhattan atelier.

Greenwich, Westport, Fairfield County - these communities hold a higher concentration of older, higher-value fur pieces. We handle custom commissions here, but a lot of our Connecticut work is restyling and repair on inherited coats, and appraisals for insurance or estate purposes.

Ervin runs pickup and delivery on the same schedule as the rest of the tri-state area, so an appraisal, a repair, and a storage pickup can all happen in a single visit.

What we do for Connecticut clients

Custom design

One-of-a-kind coats, built to your fittings

Sable, mink, chinchilla, shearling - Connecticut commissions tend toward higher-value skins and full-length silhouettes. Every project starts with a no-obligation consultation in the Fur District showroom.

Repair & appraisals

Restyling & certified valuations

Inherited coats often need both restyling and a fresh appraisal. Ervin issues certified appraisals for insurance, estate, and resale purposes - useful for higher-value Connecticut pieces before they go back into circulation or into the vault.

Cold storage

Climate-controlled vault, door-to-door

Connecticut pickup runs on the same flat roundtrip fee as the rest of the tri-state area. Storage runs May through October in our Manhattan vault.

Pickup & delivery to Connecticut

One flat $35 roundtrip fee covers Greenwich, Westport, and every Fairfield County town in between. Seasonal cold storage starts at $85 per coat; full published pricing lives on the cold storage page.
