ERNY Furs isn't commission-only. Over five decades in the Fur District, Ervin has personally designed and produced hundreds of coats and styles – mink, sable, fox, chinchilla, shearling – and they hang on the racks upstairs, ready to try on and buy directly.
Two ways to walk out in a coat: pick something from the collection today, or commission a custom piece from scratch. Same hands either way.

Inventory rotates. What's on the floor changes week to week – call ahead if you're coming in for something specific and Ervin will pull it before you arrive.
Collection vs. custom.
The collection is existing, ready-to-wear pieces Ervin has already designed and produced. You try it on, it fits, you take it home.
Custom design starts from scratch – pelts pulled from the bin, pattern cut on the workbench, coat built to one person's specifications over several fittings.
The look-book of past custom commissions lives on the portfolio page – those pieces aren't for sale, they're already with their owners.
