Fur in the Hamptons is a different conversation than fur in the rest of Long Island. Coats here are worn to galas, benefits, and holiday weekends out east - and then they need to move between a Manhattan winter and a Hamptons summer without getting cooked in a beach-house closet.
Ervin makes custom coats for East End clients on the same schedule as his Manhattan and Long Island commissions - consultation in the Fur District, three fittings, delivered when it's ready. For inherited or higher-value pieces, we handle appraisals and restyling in the same visit.

East End summers are exactly the humidity a fur pelt shouldn't be in. Our climate-controlled vault is the alternative to a Hamptons closet or a Manhattan back-room - and pickup and delivery covers Southampton to Montauk on the same tri-state flat fee.

Higher-value pieces - inherited sable, chinchilla, or vintage mink - should be professionally appraised for insurance, estate planning, or resale. Ervin issues certified appraisals in the same visit as a pickup or fitting.
