From the Manhattan Fur District, we've been building coats and caring for pelts for Nassau and Suffolk County families for decades - a lot of them second- and third-generation clients working with pieces their mothers or grandmothers commissioned.
Ervin runs routes into Long Island himself. Whether it's a new commission that needs three fittings, an inherited coat that needs restyling, or a seasonal storage pickup, you don't have to drive into Manhattan - we come to you.

Inherited coats made wearable again
A lot of what we handle from Long Island is family fur - a mother's or grandmother's coat that's structurally sound but dated. Shortening, reshaping, converting to a jacket, vest, or lining, replacing worn linings and closures. If it's still whole, it can almost always be worn again.

Climate-controlled vault, door-to-door
Summer humidity on the Island is exactly what dries out and cracks a pelt. Storage runs May through October in our Manhattan vault. Pickup and delivery is one flat roundtrip fee across the entire tri-state area - you don't drive it in.
Storage & pricing ->Pickup & delivery to Long Island
One flat $35 roundtrip fee covers pickup and drop-off anywhere in Nassau or Suffolk County - same flat fee as the rest of the tri-state area. Seasonal cold storage starts at $85 per coat; the full published pricing lives on the cold storage page.
